Te Puea Hērangi
Te Puea Hērangi was a prominent Māori leader and activist in New Zealand during the early 20th century. Born in 1883, she was a member of the Waikato iwi and played a significant role in advocating for the rights and welfare of Māori people. Te Puea was known for her efforts in education, health, and housing, aiming to improve the living conditions of her community.
