Tavli Variants
Tavli is a traditional board game popular in Greece and other Mediterranean countries, featuring three main variants: Portes, Plakoto, and Fevga. Each variant has its own unique rules and strategies, but all share a common goal of moving pieces around the board and capturing the opponent's pieces.
In Portes, players aim to move all their pieces into their home board and bear them off first. Plakoto involves capturing opponent pieces by landing on them, while Fevga allows players to block their opponent's moves. These variants offer diverse gameplay experiences while maintaining the essence of the original game.
