Backgammon is a two-player board game that combines elements of strategy and luck. Players move their pieces, called checkers, around a board divided into 24 triangular points, known as "pips." The objective is to be the first to move all of your checkers into your home board and then bear them off.
The game begins with each player rolling a pair of dice to determine their moves. Players can land on open points, hit opponents' checkers, or create blocks. Backgammon has a rich history, dating back thousands of years, and is enjoyed worldwide for its competitive nature and social interaction.
