Tatius
Tatius was a king of the ancient Sabines, a people who lived in central Italy. He is best known for his association with the legendary founding of Rome, particularly for his alliance with Romulus, the city's first king. Together, they ruled Rome after the abduction of the Sabine women, which was a pivotal event in Roman mythology.
After the conflict between the Romans and the Sabines, Tatius and Romulus established a joint rule. Tatius's reign is often depicted as a time of cooperation between the two groups, but he eventually faced challenges, leading to his death. His legacy is intertwined with the early history of Rome and its development.
