Tassawuf
Tassawuf, often referred to as Sufism, is a mystical dimension of Islam that emphasizes the inward search for God and spiritual closeness. It focuses on personal experience and the purification of the heart, encouraging followers to seek a deeper understanding of their faith through meditation, prayer, and ethical living.
Practitioners of Tassawuf often engage in various spiritual practices, including dhikr (remembrance of God) and whirling (as seen in the Mevlevi order). The ultimate goal is to achieve a state of divine love and unity with God, transcending the material world and fostering compassion and selflessness.
