Tang Dynasty Invasions
The Tang Dynasty, which ruled China from 618 to 907 AD, faced several invasions during its reign. These invasions primarily came from nomadic tribes in the north, such as the Tujue (Turks) and the Uighurs. These groups sought to expand their territories and often clashed with the Tang military, leading to significant conflicts.
In response to these threats, the Tang Dynasty implemented military reforms and established alliances with other tribes. Despite these efforts, the invasions contributed to the eventual decline of the dynasty, as internal strife and external pressures weakened its control over the vast empire.
