Takin
The Takin is a large, herbivorous mammal native to the mountainous regions of China, Bhutan, and India. It has a stocky body, short legs, and a distinctive appearance with a thick coat of fur that helps it survive in cold environments. Takin are known for their unique, goat-like horns and can weigh between 220 to 770 pounds.
These animals primarily feed on grasses, leaves, and shrubs, using their strong jaws to browse on vegetation. Takin are social creatures, often found in small herds, and they are well-adapted to their rugged habitats. They are classified as vulnerable due to habitat loss and hunting pressures.
