Syrian National Army
The Syrian National Army (SNA) is a coalition of various armed groups that emerged during the Syrian Civil War. Formed in 2017, it primarily consists of defectors from the Syrian Arab Army and other opposition factions. The SNA aims to establish a unified military force to combat the Syrian government and other groups, including ISIS.
Supported by Turkey, the SNA operates mainly in northern Syria, particularly in areas like Afrin and Idlib. The group has been involved in various military operations and has sought to provide governance and security in regions under its control.
