Synchronous Motor
A synchronous motor is an electric motor that operates at a constant speed, synchronized with the frequency of the electrical supply. It converts electrical energy into mechanical energy by using a rotating magnetic field. The rotor of the motor rotates at the same speed as the magnetic field produced by the stator, which is the stationary part of the motor.
These motors are commonly used in applications where precise speed control is essential, such as in industrial machinery and power generation. They are known for their efficiency and ability to maintain a constant speed under varying loads, making them suitable for various operational needs.
