Surgical Training
Surgical training is a specialized education program designed to prepare medical professionals, known as surgeons, for performing surgical procedures. This training typically follows medical school and includes a residency program where trainees gain hands-on experience in various surgical techniques and patient care.
During surgical training, residents work under the supervision of experienced attending surgeons in hospitals and clinics. They learn to perform different types of surgeries, manage patient safety, and develop critical decision-making skills. The training often lasts several years and may include additional fellowships for further specialization in areas such as orthopedic surgery or cardiothoracic surgery.
