Sun Simiao was a prominent Chinese physician and pharmacologist who lived during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). He is often referred to as the "King of Medicine" for his significant contributions to traditional Chinese medicine. His most famous work, the "Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold," compiled numerous herbal remedies and medical practices, emphasizing the importance of ethics in medicine.
