Sugarcane byproduct
Sugarcane byproducts are materials generated during the processing of sugarcane for sugar production. These byproducts include bagasse, which is the fibrous residue left after extracting juice, and molasses, a thick syrup that remains after sugar crystallization. Both byproducts have various uses in industries such as food, energy, and agriculture.
Bagasse can be used as a biofuel, animal feed, or in the production of paper and biodegradable products. Molasses is often utilized as a sweetener in food products, a fermentation substrate for yeast production, and as a nutrient source in animal feed.
