Suetonius
Suetonius was a Roman historian and biographer, born around 69 AD. He is best known for his work "De Vita Caesarum," or "The Twelve Caesars," which provides detailed biographies of the first twelve emperors of Rome, from Julius Caesar to Domitian. His writings are notable for their vivid anecdotes and insights into the personalities and lives of these rulers.
In addition to "The Twelve Caesars," Suetonius wrote other works, including "De Viris Illustribus," which focused on notable figures in Roman history. His style combined historical facts with entertaining stories, making his biographies both informative and engaging for readers.
