Stefan Uroš II
Stefan Uroš II was a Serbian king who ruled from 1355 to 1371. He was a member of the Nemanjić dynasty and the son of Stefan Uroš I. His reign was marked by efforts to strengthen the Serbian state and expand its territory, particularly in the regions of Macedonia and Thessalonica.
During his rule, Uroš II faced challenges from both internal factions and external threats, including the rising power of the Ottoman Empire. Despite these difficulties, he is remembered for his attempts to maintain stability and promote the Orthodox Christian faith within his kingdom.
