Serbian Empire
The Serbian Empire was a medieval state that reached its peak in the 14th century under the rule of Stefan Dušan. It expanded significantly, covering parts of the Balkans, including modern-day Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and parts of Greece. The empire was known for its cultural and economic development, as well as its strong military.
During its height, the Serbian Empire established a complex administrative system and promoted the Orthodox Christian faith. The empire's decline began after the death of Stefan Dušan in 1355, leading to fragmentation and eventual conquest by the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century.
