State of Palestine
The State of Palestine is a sovereign entity located in the Middle East, primarily comprising the regions of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. It is recognized by over 130 countries and has non-member observer state status at the United Nations. The capital is considered to be East Jerusalem, although its status is a subject of ongoing conflict.
The Palestinian people have a distinct cultural identity and history, with their own traditions, languages, and customs. The political situation in the region is complex, involving disputes with Israel over territory, governance, and rights. Efforts for peace and a two-state solution continue to be a focus of international diplomacy.
