The league aimed to maintain peace and stability across the Inner Sphere, promoting cooperation among its member states. The Star League reached its peak during the reign of First Lord Richard Cameron, who sought to unify the Inner Sphere under a single government. However, internal conflicts and power struggles eventually led to its collapse in the late 28th century, resulting in the Succession Wars.
