The Stadio di Domiziano, also known as the Stadium of Domitian, is an ancient Roman sports arena located in Rome. Built in the late 1st century AD, it was primarily used for athletic competitions and other public events. The stadium could accommodate around 30,000 spectators and featured a long, rectangular shape typical of Roman stadiums.
Today, the remains of the Stadio di Domiziano are located beneath the Piazza Navona, a popular public square. Excavations have revealed parts of the original structure, including sections of the track and seating areas. The site offers valuable insights into ancient Roman architecture and entertainment.
