St. Willibrord
St. Willibrord was an Anglo-Saxon missionary born around 658 AD in what is now England. He is best known for his efforts to convert the Frisians in present-day Netherlands and Germany to Christianity. Willibrord became the first bishop of Utrecht and played a significant role in establishing the Christian faith in the region.
He founded several churches and monasteries, promoting education and religious practices. St. Willibrord is often celebrated for his dedication to spreading Christianity and is recognized as a saint in both the Roman Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion. His feast day is observed on November 7.
