St. Vojtěch
St. Vojtěch, also known as St. Adalbert, was a Czech bishop and missionary who lived in the 10th century. He is recognized as the patron saint of Czech Republic and Poland. Vojtěch played a significant role in spreading Christianity in Central Europe and was known for his efforts to convert the pagan tribes in the region.
He was born into a noble family and became the Bishop of Prague. After facing opposition, he left his position and traveled to Rome for support. St. Vojtěch was eventually martyred in Prussia while on a missionary journey, and his legacy continues to be celebrated in various cultures.
