St. Andrew
St. Andrew is one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ and is recognized as the patron saint of Scotland and Russia. He is often depicted with a saltire cross, which is shaped like an "X," reflecting the tradition that he was crucified on such a cross. His feast day is celebrated on November 30th.
According to Christian tradition, St. Andrew was a fisherman and the brother of Peter, another prominent apostle. He is known for his role in spreading the teachings of Christianity and is believed to have traveled to various regions, including Greece and Asia Minor, to preach.
