Sri Ramana Maharshi
Sri Ramana Maharshi was an Indian sage and spiritual teacher, born on December 30, 1879, in Tamil Nadu, India. He is best known for his teachings on self-inquiry and the nature of the self, emphasizing the importance of asking "Who am I?" to attain self-realization. His approach to spirituality was simple and direct, making profound concepts accessible to all.
At the age of 16, he experienced a deep spiritual awakening that led him to Arunachala, a sacred mountain in Tiruvannamalai, where he spent most of his life. There, he attracted many followers and established an ashram, where he shared his insights and guided seekers on their spiritual journeys.
