Spinosauridae
Spinosauridae is a family of large, carnivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. They are known for their distinctive elongated skulls and long, crocodile-like snouts, which suggest they may have primarily hunted fish. Their body structure was robust, with long limbs and a sail-like structure on their backs formed by elongated neural spines.
These dinosaurs were primarily found in what is now Africa, Europe, and South America. The most famous member of the family is Spinosaurus, which is believed to be one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs, possibly even larger than Tyrannosaurus rex. Spinosaurids are unique among theropods due to their semi-aquatic lifestyle.
