Spasms
Spasms are sudden, involuntary contractions of muscles that can occur in various parts of the body. They can be caused by factors such as dehydration, overexertion, or underlying medical conditions. Common types of spasms include muscle cramps and twitching, which can be temporary or persistent.
In some cases, spasms may be associated with conditions like multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy. While they can be uncomfortable, most spasms are harmless and resolve on their own. However, persistent or severe spasms may require medical evaluation to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment.
