Spanish Bullfighting
Spanish Bullfighting is a traditional spectacle that involves a matador confronting a bull in a bullring. The event typically consists of three stages: the tercio de varas, where the bull is tested for strength; the tercio de banderillas, where banderilleros place barbed sticks in the bull's back; and the final tercio de muerte, where the matador attempts to kill the bull with a sword.
This practice has deep cultural roots in Spain and is often associated with regional festivals. While it is celebrated by some as an art form, it has also faced criticism and protests from animal rights activists who oppose the treatment of the bulls.
