Soyuz 41
Soyuz 41 was a space mission that took place in 1980, part of the Soyuz program. It launched on July 15, carrying a crew of three astronauts: Georgi Dobrovolski, Viktor Patsayev, and Valentin Shatalov. The mission lasted for 7 days, during which the crew conducted scientific experiments aboard the Salyut 7 space station.
The mission was significant for its duration and the research conducted in microgravity. Unfortunately, the crew tragically lost their lives during re-entry on September 30, 1971, in the Soyuz 11 incident, making Soyuz 41 a reminder of the risks associated with space exploration.
