Soyuz 29
Soyuz 29 was a crewed spaceflight mission launched on June 15, 1978, as part of the Soyuz program. The mission carried two cosmonauts, Viktor Savinykh and Yuri Malyshev, to the Salyut 7 space station. They spent nearly 7 days in space, conducting scientific experiments and performing maintenance on the station.
During their mission, the crew successfully docked with Salyut 7 and contributed to the ongoing research in microgravity. The mission was significant for its role in advancing human spaceflight and enhancing international cooperation in space exploration. Soyuz 29 returned to Earth on June 22, 1978.
