Soyuz 10
Soyuz 10 was a Soviet space mission launched on April 21, 1971. It aimed to dock with the Salyut 1 space station, which was the first space station ever put into orbit. The mission included a crew of three cosmonauts: Georgi Dobrovolski, Viktor Patsayev, and Valentin Vasilyev.
The mission successfully achieved docking, but the crew was unable to enter the station due to a hatch malfunction. Tragically, upon re-entry, the crew perished when their capsule depressurized. This incident marked a significant moment in space exploration history, highlighting the risks involved in human spaceflight.
