Sokrat
Sokrat, also known as Socrates, was an ancient Greek philosopher who lived from 470 to 399 BCE. He is widely regarded as one of the founders of Western philosophy. Sokrat is best known for his method of questioning, known as the Socratic method, which involves asking a series of questions to stimulate critical thinking and illuminate ideas.
Sokrat did not write any texts himself; instead, his teachings and ideas were recorded by his students, most notably Plato. His focus on ethics and the examination of moral concepts laid the groundwork for future philosophical inquiry. Sokrat's commitment to seeking truth and understanding continues to influence philosophy today.
