Soghomon Tehlirian
Soghomon Tehlirian was an Armenian man born in 1896 in the Ottoman Empire. He is best known for assassinating Talat Pasha, one of the key architects of the Armenian Genocide, in 1921. Tehlirian's act was motivated by a desire for justice for the atrocities committed against the Armenian people during World War I.
