Sofia of Spain
Sofia of Spain, born on November 29, 1938, is the wife of King Juan Carlos I and the former queen consort of Spain. She was born in Greece and is a member of the Greek royal family. Sofia has played a significant role in Spanish public life, supporting various social and cultural initiatives throughout her husband's reign.
As queen consort, Sofia was known for her dedication to charitable work and her involvement in organizations focused on education and health. She has three children: Infanta Elena, Infanta Cristina, and King Felipe VI, who succeeded Juan Carlos I in 2014.
