Social Revolutionary Party
The Social Revolutionary Party was a political party in Russia that emerged in the early 20th century. It primarily represented the interests of the peasantry and aimed to address social inequalities through revolutionary means. The party was known for its advocacy of agrarian socialism and its opposition to the ruling Tsarist regime.
The party split into two main factions: the Left SRs, who supported the Bolsheviks during the October Revolution, and the Right SRs, who opposed the Bolshevik government. The Social Revolutionary Party played a significant role in the political landscape of Russia until its decline after the civil war in the early 1920s.
