Social Flycatcher
The Social Flycatcher is a small bird belonging to the family Tyrannidae, commonly found in parts of Central and South America. It is recognized for its distinctive yellow belly and grayish-brown upperparts. This bird typically inhabits open areas, such as fields and edges of forests, where it can easily catch insects in flight.
Social Flycatchers are known for their gregarious nature, often seen in small flocks. They are also known to build their nests in colonies, which provides safety from predators. Their diet mainly consists of insects, making them beneficial for controlling pest populations in their habitats.
