Slovak architecture
Slovak architecture reflects a rich blend of styles influenced by its history and geography. From the medieval castle structures like Bratislava Castle to the ornate Baroque churches, the country showcases a variety of architectural forms. The Gothic and Renaissance periods also left their mark, particularly in urban centers such as Košice and Trnava.
In the 20th century, modernist movements emerged, leading to innovative designs like the Slovak Radio Building in Bratislava. Additionally, traditional folk architecture, characterized by wooden houses and unique decorations, can be found in rural areas, highlighting the cultural heritage of Slovakia.
