Sino-Soviet Relations
Sino-Soviet Relations refer to the diplomatic and political interactions between China and the Soviet Union during the 20th century. Initially, these relations were strong after the Chinese Communist Party came to power in 1949, with the two countries sharing a common ideology of communism and cooperating on various economic and military projects.
However, tensions began to rise in the late 1950s due to ideological differences and national interests, leading to a split known as the Sino-Soviet Split. This rift resulted in conflicts, including border disputes, and significantly impacted global politics during the Cold War.
