Sinclair C5
The Sinclair C5 is a small, electric vehicle designed by British inventor Sir Clive Sinclair and launched in 1985. It features a unique, futuristic design and is classified as a personal electric vehicle, intended for short-distance travel. The C5 is powered by a 12-volt battery and can reach speeds of up to 15 miles per hour.
Despite its innovative concept, the Sinclair C5 faced criticism for its limited range and lack of weather protection. It was primarily marketed as an eco-friendly alternative to cars, but production ceased after only a few years due to low sales and practicality concerns.
