Simeon II of Bulgaria
Simeon II of Bulgaria, born on June 16, 1937, is the last reigning monarch of Bulgaria. He became Tsar at the age of six after his father, Tsar Boris III, died in 1943. Following the end of World War II, the monarchy was abolished in 1946, and Simeon went into exile.
After living in various countries, Simeon returned to Bulgaria in 1996. He later entered politics and served as Prime Minister from 2001 to 2005. His leadership focused on economic reforms and integration with the European Union. Simeon remains a significant figure in Bulgarian history.
