Sika deer
The Sika deer is a medium-sized deer native to East Asia, particularly found in countries like Japan, China, and Korea. They are known for their distinctive spotted coat, which helps them blend into their forest habitats. Adult males, called stags, typically have antlers that can grow up to 90 centimeters long.
Sika deer are herbivores, primarily feeding on grasses, leaves, and shrubs. They are social animals, often forming small groups, and are most active during dawn and dusk. Their adaptability to various environments has allowed them to thrive in both wild and semi-domesticated settings.
