Siberian tigers
The Siberian tiger, also known as the Amur tiger, is the largest subspecies of tiger. They are native to the forests of eastern Russia and parts of China. These majestic animals have thick fur that helps them survive in cold climates, and their distinctive orange coat with black stripes provides excellent camouflage in their natural habitat.
Siberian tigers are solitary creatures, primarily hunting at night. Their diet mainly consists of large prey such as deer and wild boar. Due to habitat loss and poaching, the population of Siberian tigers is critically endangered, making conservation efforts essential for their survival.
