Amur tiger
The Amur tiger, also known as the Siberian tiger, is a subspecies of tiger found primarily in the forests of the Russian Far East and parts of China. It is the largest of all tiger subspecies, with males weighing up to 660 pounds and measuring up to 10 feet in length, including the tail. Their thick fur and lighter coloration help them adapt to cold climates.
Amur tigers are solitary animals, primarily hunting at night. Their diet mainly consists of large prey such as deer and wild boar. Conservation efforts are in place to protect this endangered species, as habitat loss and poaching have significantly reduced their population in the wild.
