Shua people
The Shua people, also known as the San or Bushmen, are indigenous hunter-gatherers primarily found in southern Africa, particularly in Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. They are known for their deep connection to the land and traditional knowledge of flora and fauna, which has been passed down through generations. Their unique click languages, such as Tswana and Khoisan, are among the oldest in the world.
Historically, the Shua people have faced significant challenges due to colonization and modern development, which have threatened their traditional way of life. Many Shua communities are now engaged in efforts to preserve their culture and rights, while also adapting to contemporary society.
