Shrink Sleeves
Shrink sleeves are a type of packaging that consists of a plastic film, typically made from materials like polyolefin or PVC. These sleeves are designed to fit snugly around products when heat is applied, causing the material to shrink and conform to the shape of the item. This method is commonly used for labeling bottles, cans, and other containers, providing a 360-degree surface for graphics and information.
The shrink sleeve process involves printing designs on the flat film before it is applied to the product. Once the sleeve is placed around the item, heat is applied using a heat tunnel or shrink wrap machine, which activates the shrinking process. This not only enhances the product's appearance but also offers tamper-evident features and protection from environmental factors.
