Shawwal
Shawwal is the tenth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, following the holy month of Ramadan. It is significant for Muslims as it marks the end of fasting and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, a festival that involves communal prayers, feasting, and giving to charity.
In Shawwal, it is also recommended for Muslims to fast six additional days, known as the Six Days of Shawwal. Fasting during this month is believed to bring the reward of fasting for an entire year, as stated in various Hadiths. This practice emphasizes the importance of gratitude and continued devotion after Ramadan.
