Islamic Holidays
Islamic holidays are significant events in the Islamic calendar, celebrated by Muslims around the world. The two major holidays are Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, and is celebrated with communal prayers, feasting, and giving to charity.
Eid al-Adha, also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," commemorates the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son in obedience to God. It involves special prayers, the sacrifice of animals, and sharing the meat with family, friends, and those in need. Both holidays emphasize community, gratitude, and compassion.
