Sharia boards
A Sharia board is a group of Islamic scholars who provide guidance on matters related to Islamic law, or Sharia. These boards are often established by financial institutions, businesses, or organizations to ensure that their operations comply with Islamic principles, particularly in areas like finance and investment.
Members of a Sharia board typically include experts in Islamic jurisprudence, ethics, and finance. They review products and services to ensure they do not involve prohibited activities, such as usury or gambling. Their role is crucial in helping Muslims make informed decisions that align with their faith.
