Fatwa
A fatwa is a formal legal opinion or decree issued by an Islamic scholar, known as a mufti. It provides guidance on specific issues related to Islamic law, or Sharia, and can address various topics, including ethics, personal conduct, and religious practices. Fatwas are not legally binding but serve as important interpretations of Islamic teachings.
Fatwas can be issued in response to questions from individuals or communities and may vary based on the scholar's interpretation of the Quran and Hadith. They play a significant role in helping Muslims navigate contemporary issues while adhering to their faith.
