Sharbat Gula
Sharbat Gula is an Afghan woman who became famous after her photograph was taken by photographer Steve McCurry in 1984. The image, known as "Afghan Girl," appeared on the cover of National Geographic and captured the attention of the world due to her striking green eyes and haunting expression.
