Shafi'i law
Shafi'i law is one of the four major schools of Islamic jurisprudence, founded by the scholar Imam al-Shafi'i in the 9th century. It emphasizes the importance of the Qur'an and Hadith as primary sources of law, along with consensus among scholars and analogical reasoning. This school is known for its systematic approach to legal rulings.
The Shafi'i school is predominantly followed in regions such as Southeast Asia, East Africa, and parts of the Middle East. Its legal principles cover various aspects of life, including worship, personal conduct, and social relations, providing a comprehensive framework for Muslims to follow.
