Shadrach
"Shadrach" is a character from the biblical Book of Daniel in the Old Testament. He is one of three young Hebrew men, along with Meshach and Abednego, who are taken captive to Babylon. They are known for their refusal to worship the golden statue erected by King Nebuchadnezzar, which leads to their punishment.
As a result of their defiance, Shadrach and his companions are thrown into a fiery furnace. However, they miraculously survive unharmed, which astonishes the king and leads to a decree that honors their God. This story highlights themes of faith, courage, and divine protection.
