Sergio Citti
Sergio Citti was an Italian film director and screenwriter, born on December 23, 1933, in Rome. He is best known for his collaborations with the renowned director Pier Paolo Pasolini, contributing to several of Pasolini's films as a co-writer and assistant director. Citti's work often explored themes of social issues and human relationships.
In 1971, Citti made his directorial debut with the film Il minestrone, which showcased his unique storytelling style. Throughout his career, he directed several films, including Ombre rosse and La casa del sorriso, gaining recognition for his contributions to Italian cinema. Citti passed away on January 3, 2023.
